How refunds work depends on where you bought the Game or an in-game item, and on your statutory rights.
1. Google Play purchases (Android)
Purchases made through Google Play Billing are subject to Google Play's refund policies. Google handles the transaction as the seller for tax purposes in most regions.
- You can request a refund through the Google Play Store (Play's standard window for many items is a short period after purchase).
- For issues outside Google's self-service window, contact us at tideglass.studio/contact and we will help where we can, but final approval of Play refunds rests with Google.
2. Web purchases (Paddle)
Web purchases are sold by Paddle as the Merchant of Record.
- Refund requests for web purchases are handled by us together with Paddle. Reach us at tideglass.studio/contact with your Paddle order/receipt id.
- Paddle's buyer terms also apply.
3. Statutory consumer rights (EU/UK/EEA and similar)
If you are a consumer in a region with a statutory right of withdrawal/cancellation:
- Digital content (including in-game items and unlocks) is typically delivered immediately. Where the law requires, by purchasing and asking for immediate delivery you may consent to immediate performance and acknowledge that your statutory withdrawal right is lost once delivery begins, to the extent permitted by your local law.
- Nothing in this policy removes mandatory consumer rights you have under local law (for faulty/not-as-described content, you remain entitled to the remedies the law provides).
4. What is generally non-refundable
- Virtual items that have already been consumed or used in the Game (e.g., a spent one-time unlock), except where required by law or where the item was defective.
- Purchases flagged for fraud or chargeback abuse.
5. Accidental or unauthorized purchases
If a purchase was accidental, made by a child without authorization, or unauthorized, contact tideglass.studio/contact promptly (and, for Android, use Google Play's refund flow). We will act reasonably and in line with the relevant platform's rules and applicable law.
6. Defective purchases
If an item you paid for does not unlock or function due to a fault on our side, contact tideglass.studio/contact. We will restore the entitlement or, if we cannot, provide a refund for that item.
