Accretion

How to play

Easy to pick up, no tutorial needed. You start as a speck and grow by absorbing what is smaller, one body at a time, from dust to a living world.

A world ablaze with energy, the kind you grow into in Accretion.

Step 1

Begin and steer

You start as a mote of dust. Drag to steer with touch or a mouse, or use WASD and the arrow keys. You carry momentum, so you turn and drift like a real body. Go at your own pace.

Step 2

Absorb and grow

Touch anything smaller than you and it sticks and adds mass. Stay clear of anything bigger: a hit breaks you apart and costs a life. Bit by bit you grow, climbing from dust toward a living world.

Step 3

Capture moons

Unlock Shepherd and pull a smaller body into orbit. Your moons shield you from hits and widen your gravity, so more of the field drifts your way.

Step 4

Evolve, choose a path

Cross a threshold and you evolve a tier. Each time, you pick one of three new skills, and they stack over the run. How you grow is up to you.
